half and full marathon route 2011

All participants will walk the first 12 miles together, leaving from the SECC and heading to the first Pit Stop at Bellahouston Park. The next Pit Stop at 8miles is outside the People's Palace in Glasgow Green and then everyone will visit the University of Glasgow Pit Stop just after mile 12. This will then split the full marathon walkers who will head off to the Beautiful Botanic Gardens and the half marathon walkers will walk down Kelvin Way towards the finish at the SECC. The full marathon walkers will then head back towards Park Circus and the Glasgow School of Art, following their footsteps back to the final Pit Stop at Bellahouston Park and into the finish at the SECC.
